About Program:

IUBAT — International University of Business Agriculture and Technology is also known as IUBAT the first non-government university in Bangladesh. It was established in 1991 under the Private University Act (PUA) of 1992 (now replaced by PUA 2010). IUBAT is a full member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities, London, and this extended formal recognition of IUBAT degrees in 35 countries or regions of the Commonwealth.

The scholarships are funded by IUBAT to support the International Students. Scholarships are available for spring 2021 beginning in January 2021, Summer on March 20, 2021, & Fall on August 16, 2021

IUBAT Scholarships for International Students are intended for students from outside Bangladesh who want to do their bachelor’s or master’s degree at IUBAT. The Scholarships for International Students cover full tuition fees adjusted with the student’s account with the university. The scholarship also covers admission fees, registration, and health insurance. Any other expenses like food and accommodation, visa fees, travel fares, out of pocket expenses are not covered under this scholarship.

The awardee will have to maintain a CGPA of 3.00 throughout the study period at the university to continue to enjoy the scholarship benefits.

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must have to meet the following eligibility criteria:

• The candidate’s nationality is non-Bangladeshi
• The candidates are applying for admission in the full-time bachelor’s or master’s program of IUBAT
• Meet the following academic requirements:
  • 12 years of formal education for admissions in Bachelor’s programs. Candidates must have over 80% marks in terminal examinations that certify entry-level qualifications.
  • Bachelor’s degree for admission in Master’s programs. Candidates must have over 80% marks in bachelor’s or equivalent examinations.
• The candidates are to submit SAT/ACT and TOEFL/IELTS scores. They should submit copies of SAT/ACT and TOEFL/IELTS scores with the application but must arrange sending of the original transcripts of these tests by the ETS directly to the university before taking admission.
• Candidates for MBA programs may submit GMAT scores.
• The candidates must demonstrate English language skills and meet the general admission criteria
• The university reserves the right to accept or decline any application without assigning any reason.

Entry Requirements

• Applicants must secure a study visa from the concerned High Commission or Consulate of Bangladesh. IUBAT will issue a letter of acceptance as a student on completion of admission. IUBAT will also issue a visa request letter to the concerned High Commission/Consulate of Bangladesh to facilitate the process.

Visa Requirements

• You must apply for a study visa for studying at IUBAT with documents as required by the relevant High Commission/Consulate of Bangladesh.
