The Indian Government under the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), is sponsoring 1000 fully-funded scholarships for Afghanistan students in different fields of studies to pursue their higher education.
The Indian Government under the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), is sponsoring 1000 fully-funded scholarships for Afghanistan students in different fields of studies to pursue their higher education, an autonomous body under the administrative control of the Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi
Under the Scheme, a total of 1,000 scholarships are offered to Afghanistan nationals who pursue undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. courses through Indian Universities.
Eligibility:
To be eligible for the ICCR scholarships and apply to it you must have below document ready while submitting your application form:
- National ID Card or Tazkira
- Photograph
- Passport
- High school transcript & diploma for Bachelor degree
- Bachelor Degree Diploma and transcripts for Master and
- Research plan/synopsis for MPhil, Doctoral and Post Doctoral courses
- Physical fitness Certificate
- Translation of materials that are not in English
- Contact details of two referees
- Scan of Signature
Benefits:
The Indian government under the ICCR fully-funded scholarships give living allowance to the students as listed below
- Accommodation at Hostel (hostel fee is paid to the institution)
- Monthly Living allowance of 20,000 (for postgraduate) and 22,00 for M.Phil and PhD
- Annual Contingent grant of 7000 (for postgraduate) and 12,500 for M.Phil / PhD
- Tuition fee and other Compulsory fees paid to the institution
- Expenditure on laboratory chemicals and other related incidental charges for science and agriculture students
- Thesis/dissertation expenses for M.Phil/Ph.D. 7000
