1. UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS TAUGHT IN VIETNAMESE
(a 1-year Vietnamese language preparation course & a 4-year undergraduate program)
Year intake:
- Fall semester: September 2020
- Spring semester: January 202
Budget coverage: Tuition fee + Dormitory fee (accommodation)
Mode of granting: Successful applicants with scholarship decision by TDTU are exempt from the payments for tuition fee and dormitory fee (accommodation).
Time length of validity: 5 years
Requirements for applying:
- High school graduate students or equivalence in other countries outside Vietnam territory.
- Last grade high school average academic performance or equivalence must be Average Good or above.
- According to the applicant’s high school academic performance, the scholarship appraising council at TDTU selects the best ones from the applicant list to offer the scholarships until they are no longer available.
For those who apply for the major Pharmacy, you need to meet more two requirements:
- The average academic score result in the last grade of high school or equivalence must be Good or higher.
- The average Chemistry score of the last grade of high school or equivalence must be ≥7.0 (scale 10.0).

Applicants choose 1 out of 40 majors from the Undergraduate Program taught in the Vietnamese language.

Applicants intending to study at TDTU need to have a passport in order that you can go to Vietnam before you are announced to be eligible to study at TDTU. The passport should be ready by the result announcement date.

Prospective students of the Undergraduate programs taught in Vietnamese language will start the Vietnamese language course from 6 months to 1 year to achieve B2 Vietnamese language certificate before enrolling the 4-year undergraduate program. If you have the language proficiency requirement, you will start the undergraduate program immediately.
Visa:
TDTU plays the role as a sponsor to apply the visa for successful applicants for some countries (each successful applicant contacts us to get more details about specific countries with our Visa sponsor policies). For those who are sponsored with the Visa, you are required to send the scans of their passport and other essential documents (vary according to different countries) for the visa application and will pay visa fee to receive the visa at Vietnam Embassy/Vietnam Consulate General office in their home country or in another third country (if there is no Vietnam Embassy/Vietnam Consulate General in your country). This process takes around 15 days since the visa application is submitted to the authority in Vietnam. Every single year, before the visa expiry date, students will prepare documents and submit at TDTU for extending the visa (extension fee is required).
Accommodation:
Prospective students are arranged to accommodate in the TDTU’s dormitory inside the main campus on the arrival date. Cafeterias serving meals and drinks with suitable costs are available at the dormitory area.

Nationality of Applicants: Foreign nationality except Laotian, Cambodian, Thai. Applicants of these nationality click here to see scholarship policy for your countries.
Requirements for applying:
- High school graduate students or equivalence in other countries outside Vietnam territory.
- The average academic performance of the last grade in high school or equivalence must be Average Good or 6.5 (scale 10.0) or above.
- IELTS 5.0 or equivalence of English language proficiency or you must pass TDTU’s English language proficiency assessment test. Applicants from countries where English is your primary language are exempt from this requirement.
